In today’s society, CBD is running rapid in storefronts. From drinks to food, you can find CBD in just about anything. CBD or Cannabidiol is the second most prevalent ingredient in cannabis according to the Harvard Health webpage. That said, the webpage also states that CBD does not cause a “high” itself. CBD is different from the compound THC, tetrahydrocannabinol which produces a high.
Furthermore, it can be derived in a couple of different ways. For one, the cousin of the marijuana plant, a hemp plant, produces CBD. It can also be manufactured in a laboratory to be used for human consumption.
Now I know what you might be thinking. CBD is not illegal in any 50 states, however, there are restrictions within those states that residents and visitors must obey. Harvard Health mentions back in 2015 that the regulations for CBD in the United States were eased by the FBA to allow researchers to perform more tests on CBD and its effects. In 2018, hemp was legalized in the United States by Farm Bill.
The site notes that while CBD may relieve some of your chronic pain or symptoms, it will not cure it. For example, evidence from researchers shows CBD can help with anxiety, insomnia, addiction, arthritis, and chronic pain. But does CBD help relieve symptoms of Migraines?

Medical News Today posted an article outlining some benefits one may receive from the chemical. Some benefits include: the ease of nausea, inflammatory reduction, and overall pain relief. Additionally, a 2020 review supports these findings.
Although it may be easier to turn to medication to ease migraine symptoms. the Medical News Today article may persuade you otherwise. That said, the 2020 review does state that CBD may be a more realistic option if no primary care options are available.
